Heather Denison

Heather rang me one day looking for a local web designer as her current one was moving into a different field. I was thrilled to find out that she was a wildlife artist! We clicked immediately and decided to meet up to discuss her website.

I took a short drive out to her lovely home in Central Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand and got to peer into her detached studio where she creates the most lifelike paintings I’ve ever seen.

Originally from Zimbabwe, she had a love of animals from the very start and followed her passion of painting them (self-taught). She made her way into the finest galleries in New Zealand and abroad where her art is displayed and sold.

Her website needed some updating and the portfolio is constantly changing, so obtaining professional photos from her photographer along with descriptions were needed. We also added in some important dates in the future for her shows and her past events.

We recently added in a page for purchasing prints and Warm Reptile Designs created a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) for her to include with the prints. Overall, Heather was happy to get this taken care of with minimal effort and also liked knowing I was local for meeting with. While I have moved from New Zealand now, she preferred to keep me maintaining her website and we keep in touch via email and Facebook.

After my previous web designer changed career paths, I was so fortunate to find Steph. The website was in need of updating and from our first meeting, I felt confident that Steph understood what I was looking for. She was able to give me options and we shared ideas. She was quick to put it all together and I’m thrilled with the end result; it reflects my business perfectly.
Steph also liaises with my photographer for the print side of my business and has designed a beautiful certificate of authenticity for them. She is professional and easy to work with.
