Louise came to me after trying to navigate the slippery slope of WordPress while creating her website. She realised there were many things she didn’t know how to do herself but also knew she wanted a professional presence for her garden nursery.
I went over the site she had created and started looking for a different theme that would let her expand into online sales as well as one that would fit her business and personality. We found one she clicked with and it was off to the races after that!
I think it was a bit of a relief for her to have someone familiar with WordPress and selling online to make sure she was heading in the right direction. She decided to add her Heirloom tomato plants and Tree Lucerne to the Shop page as well as her on-site garden consulting service.
Having local SEO on the website was important since she serves a limited area, so I made sure that was included. We also set up a Google My Business listing which is essential for any company that wants to reach potential customers in their area.
I supplied almost all of the photos on her website and plan on visiting quarterly as the seasons change so the site can be updated with the plants and trees she has for sale.
She also wanted to know how to do a lot of things on the website so she could take over some of the work on it, which I happily supplied to her along the way.
Louise and I share a lot of the same interests so it was easy to get along during the project. She also provides an endless supply of knowledge and advice for not only me, but all of her customers. I’m looking forward to adding new content to the site and helping her evolve the business.
I am so excited about the new website. I feel very lucky to have found Stephanie. Not only was she easy to work with, she is also very interested in helping to grow the business. It was also important that I could feel comfortable working with, editing and adding content to the website, Stephanie has gone the extra mile to give me confidence and a feeling of control over the whole process. The bonus are the beautiful photos she took for the website.
